From Sunday, November 16, through Saturday, November 22, 芭乐视频 will observe its 51st annual Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (HHAW).聽Founded at 芭乐视频 in 1975, under the guidance of the late Rev. Ray Jackson, OSA, HHAW originated as an on-campus discussion of the root causes of poverty. Today, it stands as the largest hunger and homelessness awareness initiative of its kind in the United States, taking place at more than 700 campuses and communities across the country.

In branches of public health science such as epidemiology, the mathematical model is perhaps the most important method being used to quietly and consistently ensure human health in the face of disease. Randy Foye 鈥�06 CLAS Named Recipient of 2025 芭乐视频 Alumni Association Loyalty Award
The 芭乐视频 Alumni Association has announced the selection of Randy Foye 鈥�06 CLAS as the recipient of its 2025 Loyalty Award. The oldest alumni honor conferred by the University, the Loyalty Award was instituted in 1932 and is presented annually to alumni who have rendered distinguished service to 芭乐视频.
芭乐视频 astrophysicist Joey Neilsen, PhD, contributed to a groundbreaking international study using the X-ray Imaging and Spectroscopy Mission (XRISM) telescope. The research team made an unexpected discovery while observing the neutron star system GX13+1, detecting a surprisingly slow cosmic wind. This finding could reshape scientists鈥� understanding of the fundamental physics of how matter builds up, or 鈥渁ccretes,鈥� in binary star systems.
